We had our longest party to date on Wednesday afternoon lasting 7 hours! Around 80 people attended and everyone was very well fed with lots of laughter, games and fun. We provided all students with a Christmas party bag with useful and fun gifts inside. Thank you to our generous neighbours in Sharrow who helped us with their donations. We put a call out for Christmas trees and decorations last week on social media and were met with a great response! Thank you to the lovely Christmas elves and their friends, family and neighbours who have donated Christmas trees and decorations to some of our refugee households. A very big thank you to our lovely neighbours in Sharrow who have had a collection for Learn for Life. The money will go towards our Winter Party for our students at the end of the term,it is very much appreciated. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! <3

Thank you to Sheffield University Architecture Department who ran the Dwell Project for donating these 2 bright yellow tub chairs to Learn for Life. <3

Thank you to Steve for helping us with our IT support and donating 8 new computers to Learn for Life’s computer suite. They will be used for our IT projects and by our students to talk to friends and family around the world. 🙂

We will be using some of the crowdfunding to decorate and re-paint the classrooms. We have begun with the largest classroom downstairs. Thank you to all the painting volunteers! 🙂
